2021 [SENIOR]: Earned Southland All-Conference (second team) and All-Academic (first team) honors in addition to being a member of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll ... started all 56 of the Lions’ games … slashed .314 / .429 / .425 with 15 doubles and three home runs … scored a team-high 47 runs and drove in another 27 … combined for more freebies (28 BB + 14 HBP) than strikeouts (29) … swiped 19 bags in 22 attempts … produced a team-best 12-game hitting streak (March 13-28) during which he hit .408 (20-for-49) … also led the team with 18 multi-hit performances, including a four-hit game at UNO (April 25) … drove in multiple runs six times … reach base in a team-high 39 consecutive games (March 3 – May 14) … hit game-winning home run in the Lions’ Southland Conference Tournament opener against Northwestern State, blasting a solo shot to left-center field with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning.

2020 [JUNIOR]: Appeared in nine games, starting each during pandemic-shortened season ... slashed .179 / .179 / .378 ... scored six runs and drove in another five ... walked seen times and was hit by a pair of pitches, striking out five times ... stole four bases in five attempts ... ranked second on the squad in walks despite missing the final seven games with an injury ... started six games at shortstop and three games at catcher ... threw out the only runner attempting to steal against him ... reached base in all nine games he played ... ended the season with a two-game hitting streak.

PRIOR TO SLU: Played his freshman and sophomore seasons at LSU Eunice … helped lead the Bengals to a 51-8 record … earned All-Region honors … produced a .389 / .526 / .479 slash line with 10 doubles, two triples and one home run … led the team in batting average, hits (74) and stolen bases (43) … scored 70 runs and drove in another 37 … walked (42) more times than he struck out (19) … hit by 14 pitches … earned NJCAA All-Academic honors … helped lead the Bengals to a 59-6 record and the 2018 NJCAA National Championship as a freshman … produced a .313 / .389 / .366 slash line with four doubles and one triple … scored 31 runs and drove in another 18 … picked up 18 stolen bases … earned NJCAA All-Academic honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Perfect Game Top 1000 … played baseball at Destrehan HS for coach Chris Mire ... helped lead the Wildcats to the No. 6 seed in the 2017 LHSAA Class 5A playoffs … batted .390 with three home runs and 30 RBIs …  a two-time All-District honoree … participated in choir.

PERSONAL: Born Evan Wayne Keller in Destrehan, Louisiana … son of Eric and Elizabeth Keller… has a pair of siblings, Rhys and Lianne … enjoys singing and playing video games … majoring in chemistry.
