HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team will host the red-hot Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles in a three-game series this weekend at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
Friday's first pitch against the Golden Eagles (10-1) has been pushed up to 12 p.m. in anticipation of rainy weather conditions. The final two games of the series remain at their original times of 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The entire series will air on ESPN+.
All three Southeastern (5-8) games can be heard online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via both the Lions Gameday Experience, Mixlr and MyTuner Radio apps. The MyTuner app is compatible with the Apple CarPlay software available in most late model automobiles. Fans should search for SLU Athletics (Mixlr) or Southeastern Sports Radio Network (MyTuner).

SLU has dropped three consecutive games, including a 13-1 decision Wednesday at Louisiana Tech.

Rhett Rosevear (.238) pace Southeastern at the plate. Faulkner leads the squad with five extra-base hits, including a home run, and is tied with Keller for the team RBI (7) lead. Keller's seven stolen bases are tops on the team. SLU ranks fourth nationally in HBPs (35) and 15th in stolen bases (24).
Tennessee Tech, which won its first 10 games of the season, fell late to Auburn, 4-3, Wednesday at a neutral-site contest in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Golden Eagles are led at the plate by Ed Johnson, an Auburn transfer, and Jason Hinchman. Johnson leads the team in batting average (.455) and runs scored (19) while Hinchman (.423) tops the team leaderboard in home runs (5) and RBIs (19). As a team, Tennessee Tech is hitting .348 with 21 home runs in 11 games.
UP NEXT
Southeastern hosts No. 2-ranked Ole Miss in a non-conference contest at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. SLU faces the Rebels for the first time since the 2014 season when the two schools played a pair of midweek games in Hammond. Ole Miss leads the all-time series, 17-6, although the Lions have won four of the nine games played in Hammond.

Single-game tickets are on sale for the remainder of the regular season. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to minimize ticket lines on game days. Southeastern students are encouraged to contact the ticket office prior to the game to reserve theirs in advance.
General admission tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for youth (ages 3-12). Southeastern students, with a university ID, and children under age 2 are admitted free. Gameday parking is $5 per day for standard vehicles and $25 for RVs.

Southeastern uses mobile ticketing as the primary method for distributing tickets purchased online. Tickets will be available via text message or email in a PDF format for fans to download on their phone or print at home. Tickets can also be downloaded to Apple Wallet.
