HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana wraps up a five-game road trip Tuesday at 6 p.m., facing Louisiana Tech in a nonconference game played Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana.

Southeastern (6-9) snapped a three-game skid Sunday, knocking off Central Arkansas, 7-3, in the final game of a Southland Conference series. The Bulldogs (10-6) were swept in a three-game series at Wichita State.
The Lions are led by
Tyler Finke (.300) and
Jacob Burke (.295) at the plate. Burke and
Nick Ray have each produced a team-high five extra-base hits, with Burke's two home runs pacing the squad.
Champ Artigues has driven in a team-leading 11 runs while Finke leads the club with nine stolen bases.
Junior left-hander
Corbin Bozosi (0-0, 7.20) draws the pitching nod for Southeastern, opposing Bulldog right-hander Kyle Crigger (0-1, 2.45).
Alex Ray (.404), Steele Netterville (.400) and Parker Bates (.390) are Tech's top hitters. Bates leads the squad with seven home runs and 24 RBIs. Cole McConnell's three stolen bases are the most on the ballclub.
The teams face each other for the second time this season. Louisiana Tech, which shut out the Lions, 2-0, Feb. 15 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park in Lafayette, Louisiana, has won the last four games in the rivalry. Southeastern hosts the Bulldogs, March 31, to complete this season's three-game series.
Southeastern holds a 40-39 advantage in the all-time series, but trail 18-17 in Ruston. The Lions are 5-5 vs. Tech under
Matt Riser.

Southeastern begins a five-game homestand this weekend, welcoming Valparaiso to Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field for games Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. The series finale is a Cane's Challenge contest.

The homestand continues into the next week as the Lions host Southern Miss, March 17, and No. 10-ranked Mississippi State, March 18. General Admission tickets for Lion home games are $9 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3-12). Southeastern students are admitted free with a valid university ID card.
