HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana faces an early-season rematch against UL Lafayette, hosting the Ragin' Cajuns at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field for the 2020 home opener at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The game is a Cane's Challenge contest and the first 300 fans through the gate Tuesday will receive a "LionUp or Leave" rally towel.
When the Lions score 5 or more runs on a designated Cane's Challenge date, everyone in attendance is the winner of a buy-one-get-one-free combo courtesy of Raising Cane's. Fans must present their game ticket and students must a present student coupon in order to claim the meal deal.
The new Southeastern Sports Network will offer a free video stream of the game. Tune in by using the Lions' Gameday Experience app for Android or iOS devices or watch on Southeastern's YouTube channel (/SLUathletics) with any mobile, tablet or smart TV device (e.g., Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Android TV and Roku).

The Lions (1-1) defeated then No. 24-ranked UL Lafayette (0-3), 3-2, Friday in Lafayette, Louisiana on the strength of a 3-run home run and dominant pitching.

Matt Riser (228-135), who enters Tuesday's game fourth on Southeastern's list of career coaching victories, sits just two wins behind program icon Pat Kenelly.
Southeastern returns to action with three games at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field this coming weekend against Jacksonville. Game times are 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The series finale is also a Cane's Challenge contest.

General Admission tickets for Lion home games are $9 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3-12). Southeastern students are admitted free with a valid university ID card.
