HAMMOND, La. – Winners of back-to-back matches, the Southeastern Louisiana volleyball squad returns to the road Tuesday for a Southland Conference contest against Nicholls at 7 p.m. in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Southeastern (7-9, 2-1 Southland) has split its last six matches against the Colonels (7-6, 1-1 Southland). The Lady Lions have won four of their last six matches overall, while Nicholls snapped a six-match skid Saturday with a five-set win over conference-foe McNeese. Both programs are in their first season with their respective coaching staffs.

- Southeastern's improving offensive attack (.203) currently ranks fifth in the Southland, the highest the Lady Lions have ranked since finishing the 2012 season ranked sixth.
- Individually, Sam Gomez (.301) and Jodi Edo (.291) rank fifth and sixth, respectively.
- Caroline Golden (2.64 k/set), Edo (2.64 k/set) and Gomez (2.22 k/set) are Southeastern's top attackers.
- Baylee Laskoskie ranks fifth in the Southland with 8.04 assists per set.
- Golden, a junior from Mandeville, Louisiana, ranks sixth in service aces (0.40 sa/set).
- Edo, a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is tied for sixth in the Southland with 1.00 blocks per set.
- Alexis Pratt (3.31 d/set), Golden (2.66 d/set) and Lizzy Low (2.42 d/set) represent the Lady Lions' top defenders along the back line.

LAST MATCH
Southeastern Louisiana finished off a perfect week in Southland Conference volleyball action with a four-set win Saturday over Lamar, 25-18, 25-18, 24-26, 25-23, at the University Center.
Edo (14) and Golden (11) reached double figures in kills to pace Southeastern's offense. Laskoskie, a freshman from Spring, Texas, handed out 39 assists.

Eryn Wilks (2) and Laskoskie (1) each served up aces.
Karlee Wilkerson, a sophomore from Springfield, Louisiana, led all players with seven total blocks and Edo contributed six. The Lady Lions posted nine team blocks, following up Thursday's season-high 13 against McNeese.

Lizzy Low (11) and Hidalgo (10) all contributed double-digit digs.
