MOREHEAD, Ky. – With 12 total blocks, Marshall held Southeastern Louisiana to a season-low attack percentage Friday on the way to a three-set victory over the Lady Lions, 25-14, 25-19, 25-15, in day two action at the Comfort Inn-vitational.
 
The loss ended a string of back-to-back victories for Southeastern (4-8), which hit .107 in the match. Bouncing back from a five-set loss Thursday to host Morehead State (7-3), the Thundering Herd (9-4) swept past both Coppin State and the Lady Lions to wrap up its tournament participation Friday.
 
Caroline Golden, a junior from Mandeville, Louisiana, led the Lady Lion offensive attack with 11 kills. Jodi Edo, a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, contributed an additional nine kills while hitting at a team-high .375 clip. Freshman setter Baylee Laskoskie handed out 31 assists.
 
Junior libero Alexis Pratt picked up a team-leading 13 digs and Edo had a hand in three of Southeastern's four blocks.
 
UP NEXT
Southeastern wraps up the tournament Saturday with a pair of matches, going up against Coppin State (3-8) at 10 a.m. (CT) and host Morehead State at 1 p.m. in Johnson Arena.
