NEW ORLEANS – Southeastern Louisiana returns to the court Tuesday at 7 p.m. for a nonconference match against Tulane at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

The Lady Lions (0-3) are looking for their first win of the season after dropping matches over the weekend against Troy, East Tennessee State and host Jacksonville State at the Jax State Invitational.
 
Tulane (3-0) swept through the Doubletree Classic this past weekend in Lafayette, Louisiana, defeating UTEP, Southland Conference-foe Incarnate Word and host UL Lafayette.
 
SLU NOTES

• Four different players recorded double-digit kills this past weekend, including Jodi Edo (14), Jolie Hidalgo (12), Caroline Golden (10) and Karlee Wilkerson (10).
• Golden (2.67 k/set) leads four players averaging at least a pair of kills per set.
• Freshman setter Ariana Hebert leads the Lady Lions with 8.00 assists per set and seven service aces.
• Edo, a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has thrown up a team-leading 12 total blocks (1.33 b/set).

 
LAST MATCH
Southeastern fell in straight sets to tournament host Jacksonville State, 25-19, 25-20, 25-20, during final day action at the Jax State Invitational in Jacksonville, Alabama.
 
Golden, a junior from Mandeville, Louisiana, and transfer Karlee Wilkerson led Southeastern with 10 kills each. Hebert handed out 18 assists and freshman Baylee Laskoskie contributed another eight.
 
Edo, a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, had a hand in three of the Lady Lions' seven team blocks. Hebert, Lizzy Low and Alexis Pratt each posted a team-high six digs.
 
UP NEXT
Southeastern returns to the road this coming weekend, facing SIU-Edwardsville, Alabama A&M and host Southern Illinois at the Saluki Bash in Carbondale, Illinois.
