HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana returns home to Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field, opening a five-game homestand with a pair of midweek games against ULM. Games are scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Both games against ULM (5-5) are Cane's Challenge contests. If the Lions (3-8) score five or more runs in either game versus the Warhawks, fans can redeem their game ticket or student coupon at their local participating Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers to receive a free combo with the purchase of another of equal or greater value.
Tuesday's game can be heard in the Hammond area on the flagship station of the Southeastern Sports Radio Network, KSLU 90.9 FM, online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via the Lions Gameday Experience and TuneIn Radio apps. There will be no local radio coverage of the series finale.

Preston Faulkner (.311) pace the Southeastern offensive attack at the plate.
Nick Ray and
Nathan Pilutti are tied for the team lead with a pair of home runs each. Ray owns a team-high 13 RBI and Pilutti ranks seventh in the nation with nine stolen bases.
Southeastern is hitting .273 collectively, with 17 doubles, three triples, six home runs and 20 stolen bases. The Lion pitching staff has worked to a combined 7.20 ERA through 11 games, striking out 91 batters in 95 innings. Opponents are hitting .300 off Southeastern pitching.
Mason Knopp (0-0, 1.50), a senior from Fort Scott, Kansas, draws the nod in the opener, opposing left-hander Cole Martin (0-1, 4.76) for the Warhawks.
In the series finale, the Lions will send sophomore southpaw
Trey Shaffer (0-1, 10.61) to the mound opposite ULM righty Conner Deeds (0-0, 3.86).
The Warhawks are hitting .251 as a team, with 11 doubles, two triples, six home runs and eight stolen bases. ULM pitching owns a 5.36 staff ERA, striking out 89 batters in 81 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .258 off Warhawk pitching.
Chad Bell (.361), Andrew Beesley (.343) and Cameron Horton (.323) are ULM's leading hitters. Bell has hit a team-high two home runs and Beesley's nine RBI are tops on the squad. Beesley and Ryan Humeniuk have each stolen four bases.
Southeastern opens Southland Conference play this weekend, hosting Central Arkansas in a three-game series. Games against the Bears are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
