HAMMOND, La.  – The Southeastern Louisiana men's and women's basketball teams will continue Southland Conference play during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lions (3-9, 0-1 Southland) will open the week at home, hosting Stephen F. Austin on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the University Center. On Saturday, SLU heads to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a 3:30 p.m. contest at the Islanders.
 
The Lady Lions (4-7, 1-1 Southland) open the 2020 portion of its schedule on the road, traveling to Stephen F. Austin for a 6:30 p.m. contest on Thursday. On Saturday, SLU returns home to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1 p.m. in the University Center.
 
Morgan Carrier is Saturday's Spotlight Player of the Game. The first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring the New Iberia, Louisiana native courtesy of PRIDE.
 
All of this week's games will be broadcast live in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the TuneIn Radio and Lions Gameday Experience apps. The women's basketball game on Thursday will also air on ESPN3.
 
The Southeastern Sports Network will offer a free video stream of Thursday's men's basketball game and Saturday's women's basketball game.
