TULSA, Okla. – The Southeastern Louisiana men's basketball team opens a four-game road trip Wednesday when they face the University of Tulsa at the Donald W. Reynolds Center at 7 p.m.
 
The Lions (2-2) will begin the road trip coming off a win Sunday afternoon at home over the University of Mobile, 65-58. Southeastern scored 25 points off 27 UM turnovers on their way to the win. SLU was led by sophomore Ty Brewer (6-7, F, 220) who scored 20 points, a career-high, and grabbed 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Southeastern was also aided by 14 points and seven rebounds from junior Pape Diop while freshman Isiah Kirby scored 12 points on four three-pointers.
 
Brewer, a Meridian, Mississippi native, leads the Lions in scoring (16.0 ppg) and rebounding (9.0 rpg) through four games. 
 
Tulsa (3-1) enters Wednesday's game following a 72-65 win over Austin Peay State at home. The Hurricanes were led by Brandon Rachal (6-5, G, 220) with 30 points, seven rebounds and five steals.  Rachal, a Natchitoches, Louisiana native, leads the Hurricanes in scoring (17.0 ppg) and rebounding (7.5 ppg). The junior is also second on the team in steals with nine.
 
"The Hurricanes and Lions will meet for the third time in history Wednesday night with Tulsa winning the previous two. The Hurricanes defeated Southeastern, 67-52, in Tulsa, Oklahoma Nov. 13, 2011.
 
After Wednesday's game, the Lions will head east to face Austin Peay State in Clarksville, Tennessee Saturday at 4 p.m. Southeastern will then travel to Nashville to face the Vanderbilt Commodores Monday at 7 p.m.
