HAMMOND, La.  – Inside Southeastern Basketball with Jay Ladner debuts, while the basketball and track teams will also be in action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
Hosted by Ladner, the Lions' fifth-year head coach, and Allen Waddell, the hour-long radio show will air weekly from Rainbow Daiquiris, located at 14384 West Thomas Street. The show will be held each Monday through March 4 with a 7 p.m. start for each.
 
The show will air on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (KSLU-FM (90.9), Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and WFPR 1400 AM). Fans can also listen live at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the Radio FX and TuneIn Radio apps. A live video stream of the show will be available via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/sluathletics.
 
The Lady Lions (6-7, 1-1 Southland) and the Lions (4-11, 0-2 Southland) will host Abilene Christian for a Southland Conference basketball doubleheader in the University Center on Saturday. The day's action will open with the women's game at 1 p.m., followed by the men's game at 4 p.m.
 
Exclusively for the women's SLU-ACU game, Southeastern Athletics will sponsor the Dads and Daughters game. Any father and daughter attending the game together can get two tickets for $10. Saturday's Spotlight Player of the Game is Rhomyia Tate. The first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring the Tickfaw, Louisiana native courtesy of PRIDE.
 
The SLU-ACU doubleheader can be heard live in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the Lions Game Day Experience, Radio FX and TuneIn Radio apps. LionVision subscribers will also be able to access a live video stream at www.LionSports.net/watch.
 
Several members of the men's and women's track and field teams will be in action on Friday. Select Lions and Lady Lions will head to Fayetteville, Arkansas to compete in the Arkansas Invitational.
