CONWAY, Ark. – Southeastern Louisiana fell Tuesday in Southland Conference action, topped in three sets by Central Arkansas, 25-14, 25-15, 25-18, at the Prince Center.
 
The Lady Lions (1-12, 0-2 Southland) were led offensively against Central Arkansas (11-4, 1-1 Southland) by Jodi Edo.
 
A junior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Edo contributed seven kills and turned in a season-high .308 attack percentage. Tempestt Vaughn, a sophomore from Beaumont, Texas, added another six kills for Southeastern.
 
Michelle Mirarchi, a sophomore from Plano, Texas, dished out a team-high 11 assists, while senior Haley Baker (Elkton, Maryland) handed out an additional 10.
 
Lexie Torres (2), Mirarchi and Alexis Pratt, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, served up aces.
 
Vaughn and sophomore Maddy Katchen (Fox River Grove, Illinois) combined on Southeastern's only block.
 
Torres, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, picked up a team-leading four digs.
 
The Sugar Bears recorded nine blocks in the three sets, out-hitting Southeastern .328 to .014 on the attack.

Southeastern continues on its current road trip, traveling to Nicholls (Thursday), New Orleans (Saturday) and Jackson State (Oct. 2) before returning to the University Center for a Southland matchup with Stephen F. Austin (Oct. 4) for National Taco Day.
