HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana has nine former players active in Major League organizations, including three that signed after being selected last month in the 2018 draft.
 
Since making his professional debut on June 18, Drew Avans' season batting average has been above .300 for all but three games. Josh Green has been tough on Northwest League hitters, helping lead the Hillsboro Hops to a first-half title.
 
Wade Miley has battled injuries this season, but has worked through a couple of rehab stints with the Biloxi Shuckers. Healthy once again, he is back in the major league rotation having started the Milwaukee Brewers first game after the All-Star break.
 
DIAMOND CLUB / S CLUB
Fans interested in becoming active supporters of the Southeastern baseball program are encouraged to join the Diamond Club. Lion baseball alums are encouraged to join the exclusive S Club, which is restricted to Southeastern athletic letter winners. S Club members also gain membership in the Diamond Club.
