HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana kicks off a pair of midweek games Tuesday at 6 p.m., hosting Toledo at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field in a Cane's Challenge contest.
If the Lions (7-5) score four runs or more, fans can redeem their Cane's coupon at any local participating Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for a free combo with the purchase of another of equal or greater value.
After Tuesday's rematch with Toledo (3-7), Southeastern travels to New Orleans, Louisiana, to face Tulane (6-5) at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

The Lions will send junior right-hander
Jace Nini (2-0, 3.60) to the mound opposite Toledo junior right-hander Axel Bueter (0-0, 6.75) in Tuesday's game. Nini earns his first starting assignment for Southeastern.
Junior righty
Corey Gaconi (0-0, 4.82) gets the starting nod Wednesday at Tulane versus Green Wave sophomore right-hander Chase Solesky (1-0, 4.66).
Southeastern defeated Toledo 7-5 Saturday, dropping games to Sacred Heart and No. 14-ranked LSU over the weekend.

As a team, the Lions are hitting .272, with 15 doubles, two triples and eight home runs. Their 45 stolen bases lead the nation. Southeastern's pitching staff has compiled a 3.36 ERA, fanning 98 batters through 107 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .243 off Lion pitching.
Toledo dropped games to No. 14-ranked LSU and Southeastern this past weekend, defeating Sacred Heart to salvage a win Sunday at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Matt Hansen (.390), Dalton Bollinger (.333) and Zach Schwartzenberger (.320) are the Rockets top hitters. Brad Boss leads the team with three home runs and Adolph Ross has driven in a team-high eight.
The Rockets are hitting .264 collectively, with 23 doubles, two triples, 10 home runs and eight stolen bases. Toledo pitchers have compiled a 7.43 ERA, striking out 80 batters in 86 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .296 off Rocket pitching.
Tulane, who faces the Lions' upcoming opponent New Orleans on the lakefront Tuesday,
dropped 2-of-3 at home to Cal State Fullerton over the weekend.
Grant Witherspoon (.333), Kody Hoese (.333), Ty Johnson (.326) and Jonathan Artigues (.319) lead Tulane at the plate. Matt Rowland has hit a team-high three home runs and driven in 11 runners. Johnson has swiped four bags, most on the ballclub.
The Green Wave are hitting .271 as a team, with 26 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 16 stolen bases. Tulane pitchers have compiled a 4.73 ERA, striking out 64 batters in 97 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .248 off Green Wave pitching.
