Etlin recorded the best final tournament score of his career with a 4-under 212 in tying for 17
th.
The Lions will look to build in that opening round which did not include a double bogey or worse.
"Hopefully we can keep that up," Southeastern head coach
Jake Narro said. "We talked about it a lot this week. We just need to continue to learn how to post those scores. It's not so much about your technique, just getting out there and getting after it and doing the right thing at the right time. Fourteen good holes and two bad ones can ruin your day. We're just going to keep plugging along that way."
Southeastern will next compete in the ORU/SFA Spring Break Challenge March 12-14 at the TPC Four Seasons in Dallas, Texas.
