ABILENE, Texas – Southeastern Louisiana dropped a Southland Conference match to Abilene Christian in three sets, 25-19, 25-22, 25-13, Thursday at Moody Coliseum.
After falling in the first set, the Lady Lions (2-14, 0-3 Southland) jumped out in front, 14-7, over Abilene Christian (5-10, 1-2 Southland) in the second set. The Wildcats scored 13 of the next 17 points to move out in front, riding the momentum to a 2-0 advantage in the match.

Elyssa Purcell (Alvin, Texas) paced Southeastern with eight kills. Junior setter
Haley Baker (Elkton, Maryland) handed out a match-high 26 assists and led the Lady Lions with nine digs.
Southeastern has dropped its last four matches.
NOTES
- Abilene Christian served up 12 aces in the three sets.
- The Wildcats, who lead the Southland in blocking, threw up 10 total blocks in the match.
