LAKE CHARLES, La. – Southeastern Louisiana dropped a Southland Conference volleyball match Saturday at McNeese, 25-23, 25-16, 25-14, in Memorial Gym.
The Lady Lions (3-25, 1-13 Southland) pushed McNeese (18-11, 9-5 Southland) to the brink in the first set, but the Cowgirls rode off with the sweep.
Sophomore hitter
Chloee Holden (Alvin, Texas) led Southeastern with eight kills and a .389 attack percentage.
Junior setter
Haley Baker (Elkton, Maryland) handed out a team-high 12 assists and freshman
Michelle Mirarchi (Plano, Texas) dished out an additional 10.
Junior libero
Lexie Torres recorded a match-high 10 digs.

Southeastern wraps up its season next week with matches Tuesday at New Orleans (Nov. 7) and Nov. 11 at Houston Baptist.
