NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Southeastern Louisiana redshirt-junior midfielder
Maggie Ramsey scored her team-high fourth goal of the season but Stephen F. Austin used a pair of second-half goals to pull away to a 3-1 Southland Conference victory Friday night.
Ramsey tied her season high with five shots on goal for Southeastern (3-8-3, 1-4-2 Southland). Freshman goalkeeper
Michaela Hawthorn had six assists.
Senior Hanna Barker had her team-high seventh goal of the season for SFA (8-6-0, 5-2-0 Southland). Freshman Sophia Fondren scored her second goal and also had a pair of assists, giving her five on the season. Junior Breanna Moore netted her first goal of the year while freshman Katelyn Termini had her second assist. Sophomore goalkeeper Allyson Smith recorded eight saves.
Barker took a pass from Fondren, turned and launched a shot from the corner of the box past Hawthorn to put the Ladyjacks ahead 2-1 in the 54
th minute.
Fondren made it 3-1 in the 78
th minute after lining a shot from just outside the box into the left side of the net following a pass from Termini.
Ramsey had tied it at 1 in the 34
th minute after lofting a shot over Smith.
SFA took a 1-0 lead when Moore took a pass from Fondren and got past the Lady Lion defense for her first goal of the season.

NOTES
SFA out-shot Southeastern 20-10 but each team had nine shots on goal.
Ramsey's goal was the redshirt-junior's 21
st goal of her career, two outside of the Lady Lions' top 10 list.
It was the first time the Lady Lions allowed more than two goals since a 3-0 loss at South Alabama on Sept. 7.
Stephen F. Austin extended its lead in the series to 20-10-8.
