HAMMOND, La. – After opening the 2015 season with four matches on the road, the Southeastern Louisiana volleyball squad returns to the University Center Sunday and Monday for back-to-back matches against Eastern Washington and Troy University.
Southeastern (1-3) hosts Eastern Washington (3-3) at 2 p.m. Sunday and Troy (5-2) at noon on Labor Day.
Admission, as it will be for all home volleyball matches this season, is free. Southeastern students and campus organizations can earn 10 points toward their new Lion Up Loyalty account at each match by checking-in on the mobile app while in attendance.

The Lady Lions dropped a tough, four-set decision Tuesday at Southern Miss.
Landry Bullock led Southeastern's offense against the Golden Eagles, racking up 16 kills for the second-consecutive match.
Bullock (3.77 kills per set), Sarah Freidman (2.25 k/set),
Madi Odom (1.83 k/set),
Veronica Turk (1.62 k/set) and
Tiffany Thomas (1.46 k/set) pace the Lady Lion offense under the direction of setters
Haley Baker (7.80 assists per set) and
Mikayla Shippy (7.27 a/set). Thomas' seven service aces are tops on the squad.
Monica Ramon (3.31 digs per set),
Brooke Balser (2.62 d/set), Odom (2.25 d/set) and
Macey Stock (2.00 d/set) anchor the back row defensively. Thomas (0.54 b/set), Turk (0.46 b/set),
Shelby Devlin (0.40 blocks per set),
Rachael Bunn (0.36 b/set) and Shippy (0.36 b/set) lead Southeastern's front-line defensive effort.
Eastern Washington, riding a three-match winning streak, swept through the competition Friday and Saturday to win the New Orleans Invitational hosted by fellow Southland Conference foe the University of New Orleans.
Allie Schumacher (3.17 k/set), Jessica Gilbert (1.94 k/set), Alexis Wesley (1.67 k/set), Nicole Rigoni (5.67 a/set) and Tilbe Yaglioglu (3.94 a/set) lead the Eagle offense. Wesley is a force on defense as well, averaging 1.22 blocks per set. Fernanda Vida (2.69 d/set), Schumacher (2.50 d/set) and Ryann Ensrud (2.41 d/set) anchor the back row.
Troy has won four in-a-row, winning its own Trojan Invitational this weekend with wins over CSU Bakersfield, Alabama State and East Tennessee State.
Blair Winston (2.77 k/set), Symone Shaw (2.00 k/set) and Darby Griff (2.00 k/set) lead the Trojan offense with Reina Terry (5.52 a/set) and Alisha Hinrichs (3.96 a/set) splitting time at setter.
Griff (1.44 b/set), Sara Landis (1.19 b/set) and Leah Causey (1.11 b/set) combine for a formidable defensive front. Troy averages 2.89 blocks per set as a team. Ali Dowdall (4.78 d/set) is the leader along the back row.
Southeastern returns to the road for its next matches, heading out west to Las Vegas, Nevada, to participate in UNLV's Rebel Challenge.
