NEW ORLEANS, La. – Southeastern Louisiana wraps up its regular-season series with Tulane at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
Cox Sports Television will carry the contest, the third this season between Southeastern (33-12) and the Green Wave (27-16). Tulane has taken the first two match ups, 5-4 in Hammond, Louisiana, on Feb. 18 and 15-2 in New Orleans on March 17.

Southeastern is coming off a sweep at Houston Baptist in a three-game series. The Lions have won eight-straight conference games.

Seward tops the Southland in batting average, runs scored (42), hits (64) and on-base percentage (.470). He carries a 22-game hitting streak into the contest, which is tied with Gavin Fingleson (1999) for the school record, and a reached-base streak of 34-consecutive games. Midyett's seven home runs and 39 RBIs lead the conference as well. Byers leads the team with 14 stolen bases.
The Lions are hitting a conference-best .307 as a team and have been successful on 66-of-91 stolen base attempts, also tops in the conference. The pitching staff has compiled a 3.60 ERA, fanning a Southland-leading 367 batters in 395 innings pitched.
Pat Cashman (3-4, 3.69), a junior right-hander, draws the starting assignment on the mound for Southeastern. Tulane will counter with righty Emerson Gibbs (3-2, 2.79).
Stephen Alemais leads Tulane in batting average (.335), doubles (nine) and stolen bases (21). Lex Kaplan has knocked a team-high five home runs and Hunter Williams' 25 RBIs lead the sqaud.
The Green Wave are hitting .249 as a team and have been successful on 40-of-62 stolen base attempts. The pitching staff has compiled a 2.81 ERA, fanning 299 batters in 383.2 innings of work.
Tulane swept a three-game American Athletic Conference series at Cincinnati over the weekend.
Southeastern returns to conference play Friday at 6 p.m. against Lamar in the opener of a three-game series.
