Lions, Houston Baptist Saturday Game Pushed Back To 3 p.m.

Rain forces later start

HOUSTON, Texas – Heavy rain in the early morning hours Saturday has pushed the start time for Southeastern Louisiana's series finale at Houston Baptist back to 3 p.m. at Husky Field.

Southpaw Kyle Cedotal (5-2, 1.75), a junior from Denham Springs, Louisiana, draws the starting nod for Southeastern in the Southland Conference contest against Husky right-hander Curtis Jones (4-4, 2.74).

The game can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU 90.9 FM, online and through either the KSLU or TuneIn Radio smartphone apps. Southeastern (32-12, 16-4 Southland) has won seven-consecutive conference games and remains atop the Southland standings heading into Saturday's action. HBU (21-19, 12-8 Southland) has dropped its last three games against Southeastern after the Lions swept Friday's doubleheader by scores of 3-2 and 6-1.
