WEST POINT, N.Y. – Southeastern Louisiana faces a pair of games, Friday at 4 p.m. (CST) against Gardner-Webb and Saturday against either Arkansas-Pine Bluff or host Army West Point, to close out its participation in the Barclay's Center Classic.

Southeastern (1-4) turned in its best effort of the young season Tuesday in a 64-49 loss at Fifth Third Arena to No. 24-ranked Cincinnati, holding the Bearcats well below their season average of 96.2 points per game.
Zay Jackson scored a game-high 15 points and
Joshua Filmore added 12 for the Lions.
James Currington, a sophomore from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, scored eight points and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.
Jackson, a senior from Hammond, Louisiana, leads Southeastern in scoring this season with an average of 13.8 points per game.
Dimi Cook (7.6 ppg), a freshman from Gulport, Mississippi, Currington (7.3 ppg) and Filmore (7.2 ppg), a junior from Orlando, Florida, round out the Lions' top scorers.
This season Southeastern is shooting 41.5 percent (114-of-275) from the floor, including 28.4 percent (27-of-95) from 3-point range. The Lions are 70-of-107 (65.4 percent) from the free throw line and have been out-rebounded by opponents, 208-152.
Gardner-Webb (1-4) has dropped a pair of games this week, 89-64 at Tennessee and 94-65 at George Washington.
Adonis Burbage (14.0 ppg), Tyrell Nelson (12.2 ppg, 6.2 rpg), Harold McBride (11.0 ppg) and David Efianayl (10.2 ppg) lead the Runnin' Bulldogs offensive attack.
Gardner-Webb is shooting 42.5 percent (139-of-327) from the floor, including 33.9 percent (41-of-121) from 3-point range. The Runnin' Bulldogs are 56-of-88 (63.6 percent) from the free throw line and have been out-rebounded by opponents, 196-181.
UAPB (1-4) has dropped its last four games.
Ghiavonni Robinson (11.2 ppg) and JoVaughn Love (10.4ppg, 6.0 rpg) are the go-to duo for the Golden Lions this season.
UAPB is shooting 35.1 percent (93-of-265) from the floor, including 28.9 percent (28-of-97) from 3-point range. The Golden Lions are 56-of-84 (66.7 percent) from the free throw line and have been out-rebounded by opponents, 226-157.
Army (3-2) has dropped its last two games, 92-81 at George Washington and 95-80 at Tennessee.
Tanner Plomb (21.4 ppg, 9.0 rpg), Kyle Wilson (20.8 ppg) and Larry Ferguson (13.0 ppg, 7.6 rpg) are the Black Knights' top scoring threats.
Army is shooting 48.9 percent (155-of-317) from the floor, including 40.9 percent (52-of-127) from 3-point range. The Black Knights are 63-of-98 (64.3 percent) from the free throw line and has out-rebounded opponents, 202-166.
Saturday at 6:30 p.m. the winner of the Southeastern and Gardner-Webb matchup faces the winner of the Army and UAPB contest. The losers of Friday's games will face each other Saturday at 4 p.m.
Following the pair of games in New York state, the Lions return home to the University Center for back-to-back contests against Loyola New Orleans (Tuesday) and Southern (Dec. 4).
