LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball team returns to action Tuesday at 7 p.m., facing McNeese State in a Southland Conference match at Memorial Gym.

Last season Southeastern (7-10, 1-2 Southland) and McNeese (5-12, 2-2 Southland) split a pair of matches with the home team winning each time.
The Lady Lions dropped a three-set decision Saturday at Central Arkansas, 25-21, 25-15, 25-10.
Landry Bullock and
Madi Odom led the Lady Lions with seven and six kills, respectively.
Haley Baker handed out 12 assists and
Mikayla Shippy chipped in an additional 10 for Southeastern.
Veronica Turk had a hand in five of the team's eight blocks. Odom and
Monica Ramon tied for the team lead with seven digs.
Bullock (2.79 kills per set), Friedman (2.10 k/set) and
Parrie Hartley (1.90 k/set) pace the Lady Lion offense this season under the direction of Shippy (5.60 a/set) and Baker(5.16 assists per set). Freshmen Ramon (20) and Baker (16) are the team leaders in service aces.
Balser (3.38 d/set), Ramon (2.54 digs per set) and Odom (1.96 d/set) anchor the back row defensively.
Rachael Bunn (0.59 b/set), Turk (0.53 b/set) and
Shelby Devlin (0.52 blocks per set) lead Southeastern's front-line defensive effort.
McNeese rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Sam Houston State in Huntsville, Texas, this past Saturday, 13-25, 20-25, 25-11, 26-24, 17-15.
Malina Sanchez (2.51 k/set), Rae Myers (2.30 k/set) Amber Fryer (2.08 k/set) and Kelly Graham (8.85 a/set) are the offensive leaders for the Cowgirls.
Monica Hudgens (0.84 b/set), Fryer (0.68 b/set) and Ebony Lewis (0.58 b/set) lead McNeese in blocking while Bridget Justis (3.83 d/set), Sanchez (2.34 d/set) and Graham (2.26 d/set) anchor the back row defensively.
Southeastern wraps up its three-match Southland Conference road trip Saturday at the University of New Orleans before returning home to host Stephen F. Austin the Thursday of homecoming week (Oct. 15).
