SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball squad dropped a four-set decision Thursday, 25-19, 25-17, 22-25, 25-23, in Southland Conference play at Incarnate Word.
UIW (5-13, 3-6 Southland) snapped the Lady Lions' (10-12, 4-4 Southland) two-match winning streak.
Sarah Friedman led Southeastern with 12 kills and
Landry Bullock chipped in 11 more.
Mikayla Shippy handed out 30 assists and
Haley Baker dished out an additional 11 for the Lady Lions.
Brooke Balser led all players with 18 digs.
Bryaunea Hall led all players with 13 kills. Shaina Garza added an additional 12 kills for the Cardinals. Kaitlyn Brooks (24 assists) and Taylor McClelland (18 assists) split setting duties while Jordan Reifsteck posted 13 digs.
Southeastern travels to Abilene Christian (5-17, 5-4 Southland), which knocked off the University of New Orleans in four sets Thursday evening, for a 1 p.m. conference match Saturday.
