HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana's Friday Southland Conference baseball series opener against Houston Baptist has been pushed back to Saturday as part of a doubleheader that will begin at 2 p.m. at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
The second game will follow 45 minutes after the completion of the first game.
Military Appreciation Day is slated for Saturday's regularly scheduled 2 p.m. contest. Military members, and one guest, will be given free general admission tickets with proper identification. To obtain a ticket, members must present their military ID at the ticket booth.
The stadium will be cleared between games and a separate ticket will be needed for the second game. Season ticket holders should present their ticket from Friday's rescheduled contest for admission to the second game of the doubleheader.
Sunday's 1 p.m. series finale remains as scheduled.
