LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball squad fell at McNeese State in three sets Saturday, 25-16, 25-15, 26-24, during Southland Conference play at Memorial Gym.
Southeastern (9-15, 6-6 Southland) and McNeese (14-14, 4-8 Southland) split the season series with each team winning on its home floor. The Lady Lions remain in seventh place in the conference standings with four regular season matches remaining.

Sarah Friedman led all players with 12 kills.
Mikayla Shippy handed out 19 assists and
Brooke Balser picked up a team-high eight digs for Southeastern.
Rachael Cagnina and Rebecca Korenek each posted 10 kills for the Cowgirls. Kelly Graham dished out 37 assists to further McNeese's offensive efforts. Malina Sanchez, Kimberlyn Patterson and Adison Giambrone recorded 11 digs apiece. Sanchez also served up seven of the Cowgirls' nine aces in the match.
McNeese out hit the Lady Lions .259 (44 kills, 14 errors, 116 total attempts) to .143 (29 k, 15 e, 98 ta) on the attack.
Southeastern travels to Sam Houston State, Thursday, and Lamar, Saturday, to wrap up a four-match road trip.
