Lady Lions Set To Play Next Four On The Road

Southeastern travels to Nicholls, McNeese this week

THIBODAUX, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball team will play its next four matches on the road, beginning with a 7 p.m. Southland Conference contest Thursday at Nicholls State. SLU will follow that match with a 2 p.m. conference contest Saturday at McNeese State.

Southeastern (8-14, 5-5 Southland) sits in seventh place, one game ahead of Nicholls State (8-15, 4-6 Southland). At the end of the regular season the top eight teams will advance to the conference tournament. McNeese State (12-14, 2-8 Southland) will face the Lady Lions for the first time since SLU won in four sets, Oct. 7, in Hammond.

Live statistics are available for both matches. Streaming video of Thursday's match at Nicholls is available through www.geauxcolonels.com. LionVision subscribers will have access to a video stream of Saturday's match courtesy McNeese State. Links for both are available on the volleyball schedule page at www.LionSports.net.

The Lady Lions split a pair of conference matches last week, defeating Incarnate Word and falling to Abilene Christian at home.

Nicholls snapped a four-match losing streak, Tuesday, with a five-set win over Abilene Christian.
