Box Score MOBILE, Ala. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team dropped a 9-0 decision Tuesday at No. 20-ranked South Alabama.

James Traylor (5-3), making his second start of the season, earned the win for South Alabama (37-13) with six shutout innings.
The Jaguars scored two runs in the first, second and sixth innings, and tacked on single runs in the third, seventh and eighth.

Aaron Haag led Southeastern at the plate with a 2-for-3 night and senior right fielder
Harry Slade threw out a pair of runners trying to stretch a single into a double.
The Lions return to action Friday at 6 p.m. in the opener of a three-game, Southland Conference series against Sam Houston State (31-17, 15-6 Southland) at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Southeastern is two games behind the first-place Bearkats with six games remaining in conference play.
