LAFAYETTE, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team wraps up a four-game road trip Wednesday at Louisiana-Lafayette. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.
Southeastern (26-15) faces the Ragin' Cajuns for the second time this season. In the first meeting, ULL (27-13) snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Lions with a 9-6 win March 26 in Hammond. Southeastern has won the last four games of the series in Lafayette.
The game can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), on the internet through the Southeastern athletics website, as well as on the KSLU iPhone and TuneIn Radio apps. Live stats, as well as a live video stream through LionVision (subscription required), will be available. He needs two wins to tie Bob Hardy, Chris Laiche and former teammate Brandon Efferson for second. The Gramercy, La., native needs four victories to claim the top spot on the list from Kenny Lehrmann.
Each team split four games this past week. The Lions defeated New Orleans in the middle of the week and then dropped two of three games in a Southland Conference Series at Stephen F. Austin over the weekend. ULL dropped a mid-week contest at Nicholls State and then claimed two of three games in a Sun Belt Conference series against Florida Atlantic.
The Ragin' Cajuns have a game Tuesday at fellow Southland-foe McNeese State prior to facing Southeastern.
