HAMMOND – Hammond Square Mall will host the "Southeastern Athletics Parade" on Monday, Nov. 11 from 5-7 p.m.
 
Several retailers and restaurants will participate in the event by offering discounts to Southeastern students and fans. Fans will have the opportunity to register at Dillard's during the event for giveaways of a Michael Kors Jet Set Signature Handbag and a green and gold men's Polo cable knit crew neck sweater.
 
In addition, the first 100 people at the event will receive a free Southeastern cookie from Great American Cookie Company. Southeastern students will receive 20 percent off their purchase at Obsession Boutique and off one item from Maurice's during the event with valid Southeastern ID. Santa Fe Cattle Company will also sell $1 beers for Southeastern students (ages 21 and over) and alumni.
 
Kajun 107.1 FM will broadcast the event, which features a parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. starting at Maurice's and making its way through the main drive in the square. Head football coach Ron Roberts and the nationally-ranked Lions will be at the event, along with the cheerleaders and Lionette dance team. Children will also be able to enjoy the Southeastern Bounce House and Target Throw.
