Box Score HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball team extended its win streak to four Tuesday, tying a season high, sweeping past Jackson State, 25-11, 25-15, 25-22.
Southeastern (11-16), which equalled last season's win total, tied the program's most wins since 2004. The Lady Lions shut down the Jackson State (7-18) offense, holding it to a .020 attack percentage.
Rachael Bunn (11 kills) and
Parrie Hartley (10 kills) recorded double-digit kills for Southeastern while Bunn (.409),
Elizabeth Ramee (.364) and
Lindsay Grace (.357) all posted solid hitting percentages.
Mikayla Shippy dished out 30 assists to pace the attack.
Morgan Todd led all players with 20 digs and
Megan McMillin, who enterred the match 45 digs away from seventh place on Southeastern's all-time digs list, contributed 13 to the defensive effort.
Paige Williams led Jackson State with five kills, hitting a team-best .235, while Angelica Kelly handed out 10 assists. Briana Hopkins, the Tiger libero, recorded 15 digs.
Southeastern wraps up the home portion of its 2013 schedule with a pair of matches at the University Center this week. Thursday, the Lady Lions will host Stephen F. Austin while Northwestern State will be Saturday's Senior Day opponent.
