Southeastern knotted the score in the top of the seventh inning. Freshman

The international tiebreaker went into effect in the eighth and senior
Heather Grivas was put on second to start the eighth for the Lady Lions. Ladnier bunted her over to third, but Pless retired Moore and Nichols to keep Southern up the board.
With Shelby Senegal on second to start the Southern eighth, Kittrell walked Kia Williams to put a pair of runners on. Southeastern will be back in action on Saturday, hosting Louisiana Tech for a 2 p.m. doubleheader at North Oak Park.
