2013: Started 43 of the 50 games she appeared in at first base … Hit .226 with four home runs and 15 runs batted in … Committed just one error in 242 chances to finish with a .996 fielding percentage … Homered and drove in three runs in both victories over Southern … Also homered versus Lamar and Texas Southern … Was 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in 8-2 victory at Louisiana Tech … Was 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in 5-0 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi … The next day, drove in two runs in a 10-2 triumph over the Lady Islanders.
 
2012: Played in 18 games, making 12 starts … Hit .158 with two home runs, six runs scored and seven runs batted in … Hit a three-run home run in a 9-8 victory over South Alabama … Drove in two runs in a 10-2 triumph at Northwestern State … Also had RBI’s versus Morehead State and Grambling … Homered versus Morehead State.
 
2011: Started 21 of the 41 games she played, splitting time between first base and designated player … Hit .185 with two home runs and eight RBI … Made just three errors in 106 chances for a .973 fielding percentage … Was 2-for-5 with a grand slam in a 10-8 win over St. Louis … Hit a solo home run versus Evansville … Also drove in runs versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Ohio State and UTSA … Did not make an error in her last 24 games.  

High School: All-time leader in hits and runs batted in at Cypress Creek High School … Four-time All-District and two-time All-State performer … Was named All-State as a senior … Also earned All-District Academic honors … Helped club team Texas Sting Gold to two state titles.

Personal: Born Michelle Victoria Sheppard in Sikeston, Mo. … The oldest of Darrell and Tami Sheppard’s four children … a marketing major.
