2010: Top player on the Lady Lions was a second team All-Southland and All-Louisiana selection … Led the team and ranked fourth in the Southland with a .363 batting average … Also ranked among the Southland leaders with a .556 slugging percentage (8th) and a .416 on-base percentage (11th) … Tops on the team with seven doubles, one triple, 23 runs batted in and 69 total bases … Also had five home runs, 45 hits, 19 runs and 12 walks … With only eight strikeouts in 124 at-bats, she was one of the nation’s toughest players to strike out … Closed the season on a school-record tying 14-game hitting streak … Hit .632 during the season-ending streak … Was 4-for-4 and hit for the cycle in a 12-11 victory at McNeese State … Was named Southland Conference Hitter of the Week on May 3 after her huge performance in Lake Charles … Homered versus Nicholls, UTSA twice, Grambling and McNeese State … Had 11 multi-hit games on the season … Had seven games with two or more RBI, including driving in three runs versus Nicholls, Grambling and McNeese State … Scored two runs in a game in four different games .. 2009: Started all 53 games, primarily at shortstop and was once again one of the team’s top players … Second on the team with a .303 batting average, 72 total bases and 21 runs scored, she was tied for the team lead with 14 doubles, stole a team-high 10 bases and led the team with a .497 slugging percentage and .374 on-base percentage … Also among the team leaders with four home runs and 19 runs batted in … Ranked among the Southland Conference leaders in batting average (10th), slugging percentage (7th), on base percentage (11th), doubles (third), total bases (11th) and stolen bases (10th) … Homered versus Southern, Northwestern State, McNeese State and A&M-Corpus Christi … Had two doubles versus Belmont and Tennessee-Martin … In the win over Belmont, was 3-for-4 with three runs batted in and two runs scored … Also drove in three runs versus Northwestern State … Scored two runs in a game on five different occasions … Also had 12 games with two or more hits and five games with multiple runs batted in … A 4.0 student, she became the sixth student-athlete in school history to earn Academic All-District honors, earning a first team selection on the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District VI team along with first team Southland Conference All-Academic accolades.
2008: Earned honorable mention All-Louisiana honors, starting 50 of the 51 games she appeared in and posting one of the best seasons by a freshman in school history … Second on the team with a .350 batting average to go with seven home runs, 36 runs batted in, 55 hits, 28 runs scored and 10 doubles … Finished the season ranked among the SLC leaders in batting average (ninth), hits (ninth), RBI (fourth) and total bases (88, eighth) … Led the team with a .326 batting average and 21 RBI in SLC play…Hit safely in 35 games with 16 multi-hit games … Drove in a run in 18 games … Had four RBI’s versus Grambling and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi … Also had three RBI performances against Central Arkansas (twice) and Texas-Arlington … In the nightcap of a double header sweep of UCA, she hit a go-ahead extra-inning home run to clinch the Lady Lions’ 9-3 victory … Had three hits versus Samford, Grambling, St. Louis and Louisiana Tech … Scored three runs versus St. Louis and Central Arkansas…Home runs came versus Grambling (twice), Central Arkansas, Texas-San Antonio, Sam Houston State, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Texas-Arlington … Had two doubles versus Louisiana Tech and Centenary … Hit first career triple in a 5-2 win over Nicholls State … Was 4-for-5 in stolen bases and also drew 15 walks.
High School: Was a member of the softball, volleyball, power lifting and track and field teams at Lutcher High School ... Two-time All-State performer ... Was named River Parishes Softball Player of the Year after leading Lutcher to the District 10-3A title as a senior ... A first team All-State selection and a LHSCA All-Star Game participant ... Hit .387 as a senior, with five home runs, 25 runs batted in, 11 doubles and seven triples ... was also a star in the classroom, finishing with a 4.0 grade point average and earning a spot on the Academic All-State team in both volleyball and softball ... Also finished fourth in the javelin at the Class 3A state meet ... Also a member of Beta Club and the English Arts Club.
Personal: Born in Kenner ... One of Perry and Lisa Duhe’s four children ... Younger sister, Michelle, joined the Southeastern program in 2010 … Hobbies include reading and shopping ... Earned her accounting degree in December 2010 and received the university’s highest academic honor – the President’s Medal for Academic Excellence ... will start graduate school during the spring semester.
