HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University junior
Kory Theodore was one of 12 receivers in the Football Championship Subdivision who were honored on the first Division I FCS Performer of the Week list in a release on Monday.
Theodore, a New Orleans native and former West Jefferson High product, was named to the Honorable Mention list at wide receiver after catching three passes for 77 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Southeastern's 27-21 loss at Tulane last Thursday in the Louisiana Superdome. Theodore caught a 23-yard pass from
Tyler Beatty in the first quarter that tied the game at 7-7 before the duo teamed up on a 41-yard scoring strike in the fourth.
