ARLINGTON, Texas – Heavy rain in the Arlington area forced the cancellation of the Southeastern Louisiana softball team's scheduled series finale at UT Arlington Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Lions (4-10, 1-4 Southland) and UTA (12-8, 3-2 Southland) were scheduled to meet at 12 p.m. But heavy rain made the playing surface at Allan Saxe Field unplayable.

Southeastern will return to action on Wednesday, facing Alcorn State at 6:30 p.m. at North Oak Park.
