CONWAY, Ark. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's basketball team plays its final road game of the 2009-10 regular-season when it faces Central Arkansas in a Southland Conference game Saturday at the Farris Center.

Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. The game can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9) and on the internet at www.LionSports.net.

With the 2010 State Farm/Southland Conference Tournament scheduled March 9-13 in Katy, Texas, Southeastern (15-11, 7-6 SLC) looks to snap a three-game road losing streak and improve on a 3-10 record played away from the University Center.

Southeastern dropped a 68-57 decision at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday as the Lions fell behind by as many as 25 points before staging a furious second-half comeback. The Lions closed a 46-21 gap in the second half to 52-48 with 7:17 remaining, but couldn't get closer.

Patrick Sullivan leads Southeastern in scoring at 15.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while Trent Hutchin is next in scoring at 10.0 per game. Rodney Jones (7.9), Brandon Fortenberry (7.8) and Gary Dixon (7.7) follow in the scoring column for the Lions along with Robert Tibbs (5.6), Deshawn Patterson (5.3) and Little Rock native Jason Marks (4.2).

Mitch Rueter leads UCA (8-19, 2-11 SLC) in scoring at 12.7 points while Tadre Sheppard is next in scoring (11.9) while pacing the Bears in rebounds (7.4). Chris Poellnitz (11.0) and Jared Rehmel (9.2) are next in scoring for UCA, which is 5-7 at home and averages 63.4 points per game.
