Mercier was 3-0 in singles play as SLU won its first two Southland Conference matches since 2016. The junior, who missed all of 2017 with an injury, snapped a five-match skid with her three wins this week. Her three-set win over Kaja Ljubic on Sunday, helped the Lions rally from a 3-0 deficit for a 4-3 victory at Stephen F. Austin.
