Southeastern Louisiana junior Brian Donna joined the exclusive 7,000-point club in taking second in the decathlon Friday at the 2018 Carl Knight Invitational. Donna, competing in just his second collegiate decathlon, finished with 7,030 points, breaking his previous best by 937 points. Cory Roberts, who scored 7,451 points at the 2009 Southland Conference Championships and 7,123 at the 2008 Championships, is the only other Lion to have eclipsed the 7,000-point barrier.
