Young advanced to the NCAA Championships by finishing in first place in the men's hammer throw at the NCAA East Preliminary Round. Young will be one of three Lions competing in the NCAA Outdoor Championships next month in Eugene, Oregon. He will be joined by teammates Andre Colebrook (400-meter hurdles) and Devin King (pole vault).
