Nichols helped Southeastern sweep Lamar and move in to a share of the Southland Conference lead this week, batting .700 with two home runs, five RBI, six runs scored, a double and a triple. She was 3-for-4 in Saturday’s series finale and hit a walk-off two run home run in a 6-4 victory. She was 3-for-3 and hit her sixth triple of the season in a 12-2 run-rule win in Friday’s opener. She also hit her first collegiate home run in Friday’s 8-1 win.
