Playing in the final home series of her career, Southeastern Louisiana senior outfielder Kelsey Nichols doubled in the tying runs and scored the eventual game-winning run in a 3-2 victory in the opener, as the Lady Lions split a doubleheader with Southland Conference rival Northwestern State. Nichols helped Southeastern reach the 30-win mark for the fourth time in school history and double its season win total from a season ago.
