Cooper’s goal in the 73rd minute proved to be the game winner in a 3-2 Lady Lion victory over Southland Conference foe McNeese State Sunday afternoon at Cowgirl Field. The goal was the team-high ninth of the season for Cooper, who is among the school’s career leaders in goals (46, 2nd), points (108, 2nd) and game-winning goals (12, 3rd).
