After a rough start, Jordan Hymel settled down to toss six-consecutive scoreless innings against the Cowboys. The junior left-hander retired the final seven batters he faced and held McNeese State hitless over the final three innings. He picked up the win as Southeastern clinched the second seed in the Southland Conference Tournament and was named the Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week on Sunday.
