Nichols continues to be Southeastern’s hottest bat, as she hit .778 with a home run and five RBI’s in the Lady Lions’ three wins this week. The Lady Lion sophomore started the week with a 4-for-4 performance with a double and two RBI’s in a 5-2 win over Alcorn State. In a doubleheader sweep of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, she had four more hits, including a three-run home run. Through the first three weeks of the season, she leads the team with a .442 batting average, two home runs, eight RBI, 19 hits and 11 runs scored.
