Santana became the Southland Conference career assists leader with assists in each of Southeastern’s wins this week. On Friday, Santana assisted Maiya Cooper on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Sam Houston State. Santana assisted the match’s first goal in a 2-1 win over Stephen F. Austin on Sunday. Santana now has 26 career assists, breaking the previous Southland Conference standard of 25 set by former Lady Lion Becca Weingartner.
