Shallow won a pair of events and led Southeastern to a fifth-place finish at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships. On Friday, he won the weight throw with a league record heave of 68 feet, 11.75 inches. He set a school record in the shot put on Saturday, winning the event with a toss of 60 feet, two inches.
