McKelvey hit .437 and averaged 4.63 kills per set in a pair of Southland Conference road matches this week. She hit a blistering .655 with 20 kills on just 29 swings in a 3-0 win over defending SLC Tournament champion Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. In Southeastern's tough 3-2 loss at UTRGV Thursday, McKelvey paced Southeastern with 17 kills. On the season, McKelvey ranks among the conference leaders in hitting percentage (.355, 2nd), kills per set (3.77, 2nd) and points per set (4.05, 4th).
