Aja Nelson stepped up big for Southeastern to close out week four of conference play against Nicholls. The true freshman recorded a season high two goals against the Colonels in the Crystal Cup rivalry. Nelson broke free in the 40th minute of the match to help Southeastern take the lead as she posted her second goal of the season. The Dallas native struck once again in the 81st minute of the contest to answer the call once again for SLU at home for her third collegiate goal. Nelson shares the team lead in scoring with three goals for six points off 15 shots and eight shots on goal.
