2018 Southland Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll

2019 [JUNIOR]: Appeared in seven matches ... generated 6.5 points in 10 sets ... averaged 0.5 kills (5), 0.3 blocks (3) and 0.1 digs (1) ... recorded a .286 attack percentage ... posted a season-high four kills against Nicholls (Nov. 12).

2018 [SOPHOMORE]: Appeared in 92 sets over the course of 27 matches … recorded 94 kills (1.02 k/set), with a .153 attack percentage, and 10 service aces … handed out five assists … contributed 56 total blocks (six solo) and 35 digs … posted season highs in kills (7) at South Alabama (9/7), service aces (2) at Abilene Christian (10/20), digs (6) at Jackson State (10/2) and blocks (6) vs. Mississippi State (9/8) … member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2017 [FRESHMAN]: Appeared in 88 sets across 30 matches … started 25 matches … averaged 1.68 points, 1.16 kills, 0.06 assists, 0.52 digs and 0.76 blocks per set … led the team in both average and total blocks (67.0) … posted double-digit point totals five times, including a high of 12.5 at Nicholls (Nov. 2) … tallied a season-high nine kills against Jacksonville (Sept. 9), Lamar (Oct. 10) and Nicholls (Nov. 2) … also posted a career-high six digs in match at Lamar … had a hand in a career-high six total blocks at Mississippi State (Sept. 16).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letter winner in volleyball at Ozen High School … team captain during both junior and senior seasons … earned All-District honors as a sophomore and district defensive co-MVP as a junior.
 
PERSONAL: Born Tempestt Danae Vaughn in Beaumont, Texas … daughter of David and Tiffany Vaughn … has three siblings, Danyelle, Terran and Blythe … brother Terran is an offensive lineman for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League ... majoring in marketing.
